Basically a place for all my head-mush to go splot somewhere.  'There are dead things, dead faces in the water,' he said with horror. Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite books of all time. Of all the wonderful things in it, however, the part that captured my attention the most and sent little thrill through me was the dead marshes. Dead faces, men and elves and creatures whose stories had long since come to the end, looked up through the water, untouchable, as if they were just placid, peaceful, rotting echoes of things past. That was my favorite part. So expect morbidity here, expect beauty, expect humor, expect horror, expect things unseen being brought to the light, and people being dragged into the dark. Expect stories of abuse and dysfunction, full of faded, broken people and people who are still fighting, still defiant. This is my own little world, and there are no unicorn giggles or bunnies shitting rainbows here. | |||||
